As you may have guessed from the featured image (if not the post title), today’s article deals with a color whose name conjures images of the hapless Han Solo, who was taken captive by the evil empire of Star Wars and frozen in suspended animation.

Yes I’m old, and yes I was (am) a fan of Star Wars.  Only the old ones, though.  The new ones felt a bit too fake for my tastes, and seemed to lean a bit to heavily on the computer animation, making them feel cartoon-ish rather than serious.

Revlon’s Carbonite is a really good formula, going on smooth and staying put for as long as I needed it to.  Plus I just thought it was a very cool, masculine metallic color.  You don’t exactly think ‘masculine’ when you hear the name Revlon, which makes it extra cool to me.

As you can see down below, the color earned a “Superior” rating, making it the first ‘drug store’ brand to make it into the winner’s circle.

Definitely check this one out.
